Overview:
According to a recent Human Rights Campaign study, 47% of discrimination reported by LGBTQIA+ Americans has been in the workplace, 46% of LGBTQIA+ workers say they are closeted at work, and 31% of LGBTQIA+ workers say they have felt unhappy or depressed at work.This event seeks to empower attendees with knowledge of rights and protections that exist in the law, connect attendees with resources for reporting and addressing discrimination, and hear from a panel of LGBTQIA+ professionals on successful strategies they've used to navigating being out at work. This free event will include free parking, free food, and an opportunity for free professional head shots.
